In 1996, I was hit by tornado hot flashes unexpectedly day and night. The rain poured from my face and body mercilessly. My heart was aching day and night, my stomach was complaining day and night, I was so hot I was having asthma attacks. I thought soon I was going to die. I was 43 years old. Then I had dreams. In my dreams I was writing and reading out loud my poetry, and I was reading, writing and translating ancient wisdom. I started to write in real life, I wrote like crazy as if I was trying to catch a lost time of my life.

I wrote a motivational book, "SUCCESS FIRST." And several poetry books, "FLYING AWAY," "HIS FAVORITE VEGETABLE IS CHOCOLATE". Today, I continue to write. I love poetry and inspirational books. I write poetry and inspirational, motivational books.

Don Baxter, Vice President of Mountain America Investment

Nikola Olson, Research Specialist, West Valley City, Utah
Normally someone has to hit me with a stick on my head for me to read poetry. Flying Away is different, it is good, I was hooked, I read the whole book!

Brad Murray, Real Estate Title Specialist
Mei Clark's poems are a lot of fun to read. Her topics are real to life, her style is unique. I like her straight forwardness and imagery. People who don't have a strong appreciation for poetry would even enjoy her writing.

Phillip Heyrend, Salt Lake City
Mei Clark's poetry is personal and honest, and it speaks to the everyday triumphs and challenges we all face living in the modern world.

Aimee Ross, A teacher from Guam
Mei Clark's poetry moved me beyond belief!

Sally Burgin, Social Worker
Flying Away is different, it is very interesting and it is a good book.

From the Author:
