About the Author:

John M. Walker was born and raised in the wilds of Wyoming. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in Psychology in 1981 and a Juris Doctor in 1984. He was an Assistant County Attorney for Laramie County from 1984 to 1991. He is presently a trial attorney and partner in the Cheyenne, Wyoming law firm of Hickey, Mackey, Evans & Walker. He has had several professional treatises published by the National Business Institute.

John is the father of seven (7) children (4 boys and 3 girls). He is very active in community activities such as the Cheyenne Girls Softball League, Cheyenne Rifle and Pistol Club and Cub Scouts.

When he isn't working or writing mystery novels, he is spending time with his family. He particularly enjoys hunting and fishing.

Initially, only a few hundred copies were ordered for friends and family this summer. However, requests from local bookstores came in and demand and sales have been so high, decided to print up a few thousand copies to see what will happen. It is antcipated that there will be some reviews from national and regional gun and hunting magazines. -- the publisher
