What else is there to tell about? Oh yes, the author.
For the past ten years Dave Anguzza has written numerous children’s stories as a hobby with the dream and goal of publishing his works. Four years later, with the birth of his first child, Nicholas, Dave’s passion for writing grew as he rediscovered the child within him. With renewed fervor and determination he set out to refine his stories and pursue the dream of putting them into production. Because of his strong bond with his stories it was important to him that he retain creative control and preserve the identity of his work. His stories are deeply rooted in his outlook on life and are a reflection of who he is. His writing is his freedom and the only way to stay free would be to self publish. “My work is me, to put the creative destiny of my work in the hands of others would be to allow someone else to remold who I am.” And so, to read his stories is to catch a glimpse of how life should be seen according to Dave Anguzza.
Dave has a mission, and Dave has a hobby, looking at life through the eyes of the very young and writing fantastic tales to keep his heart and the hearts of children everywhere full of joyful songs. Dave grew up around a family full of enough love to fill him with the imagination and creative thought that fills his storytelling. He marches through life with “Cymbals Crashing”. His training, education and credentials as an author begin with his family and trail through the pages of his tales. His most influential teachers and greatest inspirations have been his children.
To date, Dave has completed eight children’s stories with dozens of others in the works. His first published book is The Hungry Mungry, a tribute to the joy and importance of eating healthy and growing up strong. His children can tell you about the other storybook characters that he has created like Mr. BazZoo & The Good Doozer. If you keep an eye open and an ear perked, you’ll catch his other stories as they make their debut in his line of children’s books called BazZoo Books.
