About the Author:

York-McDaniel is the director of AFI, which she established in 1983 in McLean, Virginia. Now located in Phoenix, Arizona, AFI trains an certifies new image consultants and provides continuing edcation to experienced consultants.

York-McDaniel is a nationally recignized expert in the field of image consulting. She has appeared on television and radio and has been featured in many publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Entrepreneur, Glamour, Mademoiselle, Newsweek, N.Y.
