GUILTY AS ZIN tells a tale of murder and mayhem in the wine country. The action-packed story is told against a backdrop of Napa Valley, California, and opens a window on the wine industry. Numerous recipes with matching wines add spice to the plot.

A Napa engineer is brutally gunned down and sexually mutilated as he leaves the house of his mistress. Napa police are certain the wife killed her husband in a fit of jealous rage. All of the facts point in her direction, but private eye Gene Ventura isn't so sure. When Ventura steps on the wrong toes during his investigation, all hell breaks loose, and he and his loved ones face mortal danger.
