I wrote this book to allow our son to know who his mother and father were prior to his own existence. I wanted him to know our ups and our downs. I wanted to show him our mistakes and our triumphs, to present our positive and negative sides and to let him know that we are each our own person. Most importantly, I want him to know that no matter what the situation is, there will always be a way to find a solution. We are made up of everything that is enforced with growing pains, life's lessons learned and the mistakes we have made along the way. The book is filled with laughter, fun and some not so fun moments. It is a life that is in great contrast to that which is on land. It is an adventure of two lives, from two different directions and a meeting in the middle. To get to where we wanted to go, using the waves of sea was how to get there.
