About the Author:

Diana spent her childhood in the lush green Willamette Valley of Oregon. She knew there had to be dragons hidden in the forests. Diana studied history and mythology at Oregon State University. In 1992 the Metz family moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming, where there are few trees and only small dragons. Diana started writing stories for her three children in 1997 and published her first novel, Talon and the Dragons of Crinnelia in 2002. She relies on her family for inspiration and editorial assistance.
