About the Author:

Christine Bemko Kril is a pianist and teacher who created the I Can Do It! Piano Book as a fun and easy introduction to piano for her beginner students. She developed this method as a way of sharing her love of music and the piano, and to encourage all beginners to enjoy this wonderful instrument. Christine has her degree in Music from Rutgers University, has taught piano privately and at various Montessori schools, and is the founder of Kailua School of Music (now Kailua Music) in Hawaii. She currently teaches piano at her Fredericksburg Piano Studio in Virginia, where she lives with her family. She is a certified teacher of music (NCTM) through the Music Teachers National Association, and is a member of the Virginia Music Teachers Association, Rappahanock Music Society, and the American College of Musicians.
