Dattatreya Siva Baba (formerly known as Sri Siva) is a spiritual name given to Dr. Baskaran Pillai. Dattatreya Siva Baba is the first master from his tradition (Tamil Siddhas) to carry these secret teachings to people of the West. Concurrent with his mystic practices, he continued higher education within the university system and became a Research Fellow at the University of Madurai in India. His formal academic training in India resulted in a Master's Degree in English literature and a Master of Letters in Comparative literature from the University of Madurai, India. In 1983, he came to America for graduate studies completing a PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. A practical guru for the 21st century, Dattatreya Siva Baba has lived in the West for the past 20 years and has observed the frustration and confusion of modern society. Drawing on secret teachings, he created a book with practical tools so people could achieve measurable results in every aspect of life. Prosperity and Enlightenment should go hand in hand.
