F. Keith Davis, co-founder of Woodland Press, LLC and longtime newspaper publisher, penned this book about the Hoppers many years in Christ-centered ministry. The story begins in 1957 when Claude Hopper and his brothers, who were all farm boys from the Madison, NC area, started singing locally at churches, picnics and at local tobacco barns. It features a foreword by Dr. John Hagee and introduction by Charles F. Stanley.

The Hoppers are a gospel institution. I remember hearing them when I was a kid and they were called The Hopper Brothers and Connie. Connie had her hair piled on her head in a Pentecostal style at that time. Not a high rise like Vestal's, but a loose second story that would sway back and forth to the music as she sang.
