About the Author:

Doreen Tango Hampton was born and raised in New Jersey.  She attended Seton Hall University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an MBA in Finance.  Through her career as an anitique dealer and Ebay trader, she discoverd the world of antique children's books and became an avid collector.  Inspired by the birth of her niece Grace in 2000, she began writing her own original children's stories.  She lives in Litchfield County, CT. Gina Pfleegor graduated from the State University of New York and went on to receive her masters in art education from Elmira College.  She now teaches art at Hammondsport Central High School in the Finger Lakes region of New York.  "I Like Gum" is her first children's book.
