I love to travel, grow and learn. Getting away from my usual routines and responsibilities gives me time to explore my beliefs and the ways I relate to others. Discovering new places and meeting new people provide me with many opportunities to stretch my Self.
I chose to write my self help memoirs to leave a legacy of the life skills that I have learned from the way I was raised, my own relationships, many years of education and face to face contact with clients. I weave common relationship themes into readable stories that include my international physical journeys as well as my personal growth through real life challenges. My stories reveal intimate moments when I felt trapped and alone as well as times of celebration and joy.

Marilyn Barnicke Belleghem M.Ed.,has worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist and personal and professional relationship consultant in Ontario, Canada since 1981. She earned a Masters Degree in Adult Education and Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto.
Marilyn's unique perspective on relationships is expressed in her self help memoirs and her lively and thought provoking presentations. She has been quoted in many publications and interviewed on radio and television throughout North America. As an international speaker she has entertained and educated audiences to stimulate thinking and encourage discussion.
