An Empire, which has ruled the world for over a thousand years, is swept away. And the Undead, rising from the ashes of the Invasion of the Vozhan Bur, take control... And so begins We, The Living, the third and final book in Michael J. Schweitzer's remarkable The Unending War fantasy fiction trilogy that began with The Curse of Garnel Ironheart and continued with The Ashes of Alladag. Once again, a ragtag group of friends sets out to save the world from the forces of evil. But now they face truly life-threatening obstacles - and not all will survive. Not since The Lord of the Rings has there been such a fascinating and spell-binding fantasy trilogy. With engaging, well-drawn characters, touches of humour, fast-paced storyline and an intricate plot full of twists and turns, We, The Living is a worthy successor to the first two books and another terrific contribution to the fantasy genre. This is Schweitzer at his best, creating and instilling whole new worlds with epic, breath-taking adventures.

About the Author:
Michael J. Schweitzer has emerged as a major talent and a force to be reckoned with in the fantasy fiction genre. The gifted writer has created, in just a few short years, The Unending War, an entire epic fantasy trilogy collectively numbering more than 1,100 pages. Each of the trilogy's books - The Curse of Garnel Ironheart; The Ashes of Alladag; and the newly released We, The Living - stand on their own as complete stories. But anyone who has read one of these books will definitely want to read the other two. And the whole of the trilogy is much more than just the sum of its parts. It's a long, multi-path, soul-searching journey that examines values, friendship, betrayal and inner struggles while unlikely heroes battle terrifying enemies in a bid to save the world from forces of evil. The author has indeed made an important and enduring contribution to the fantasy genre - the full value of which is yet to be discovered. When he's not conjuring up dragons, demons and castles from his well honed imagination, Michael J. Schweitzer, a medical doctor, can be found at his busy Stoney Creek, Ontario practice, tending patients, serving the community... and taking the odd break to dream up new ways of slaying those fearsome dragons.
Review:
"...an enthralling trilogy rivaling The Lord of the Rings...vivid, fantastic landscapes, epic battles... a raging war for... the world." -- Michael B. Davie, author, Poetry for the Insane: The Full Mental
