She Was My Sister... is a devotional book written through the eyes of Vestal Goodman's sister, Bobbie Harris by their friend Beth Chapman. It is a heart-touching look into the life of the Alabama native known as America's Queen of Gospel Music. Vestal Goodman was an award-winning member of The Happy Goodman Family for decades as they won multiple awards and the hearts and souls of gospel music fans across the world.

Vestal, a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame had 15 number one hits and multiple other honors including Dove and Grammy awards. She was a favorite of the Gaither Homecoming Series for a number of years. Most importantly of all, she was a Christian example for all who knew her. Learn about her life and her love of God through the scriptures carefully chosen by Beth Chapman to tell Bobbie Harris' stories of her sister Vestal and the legacy she left for us all.

This is the second book written by Beth Chapman. The first was The Power of Patriotism - The Speech Heard Around the World.

Ms. Chapman was elected as Alabama's State Auditor in 2002. She enjoys writing and public speaking in her spare time and is accomplished at both. She is said to write from her heart and re-write from her head, usually choosing to leave it to her heart alone. It is evidenced in the genuine sincerity of her words and the passion with which she writes them.

Though Ms. Chapman has met and worked for many famous people during her career, it was Vestal Goodman and her music that touched her life in such a deeply profound way.

Ms. Chapman has worked in various capacities receiving awards from many organizations.
