About the Author:

Jaycinth Myers-Bachmann, affectionally known as JC, is a graduate of the Victoria Jubilee Kingston School of Nursing and has been a practicing nurse midwife since 1973. She founded Agape Nursing Service in 1986 and is president of JC Borne - a company that designs and produces a line of infant products. Fore more than three decades, JC has delivered newborns in clinical settings and at home; offered breastfeeding and parenting consultations; and provided in-home newborn and maternal care. Her studies and knowledge of holistic, homeopathic and therapeutic touch enhance her work in maternal and pediatric care and give her an advantage when serving parents who are interested in a more natural approach to healthcare. JC has traveled extensively caring for newborns and their families and is recognized for her gentle teaching approach and sensible techniques. Her lifelong passion is to help as many parents as possible get to know, understand and care for their babies in the most loving and extraordinary way.

I would advise any new Mother to get both of JC s books, they have become the new coffee table book in my house. I use the books as a quick reference before I get upset or call the doctor. I have made these books my staple gift to all of my friends who are expecting and they are wonderful because they give you a very simple approach on how to keep your baby happy and healthy.
