About the Author:
Kelly Sullivan Pezza is a freelance magazine and newspaper journalist, historical lecturer, and genealogical researcher. She began her writing career in radio advertising before moving onto newspaper and magazine journalism. As a student at the Community College of Rhode Island, she majored in law enforcement before becoming a writer of true historical crime and mystery, as well as short works of fiction. She is the winner of the 1980 National Scholastic Newspaper award and the 1999 New England Press Association award. She makes her home in South County, Rhode Island with her husband Greg and Daughter, Tatiana.
