About the Author:

Joseph E. Murphy, JD, CCEP, has more than 30 years experience working in compliance and ethics. Having been instrumental in helping the field develop and grow, he is known internationally as the Dean of Compliance. Currently, he serves as Director of Public Policy for the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), a member of the SCCE Advisory Board and a member of the Board of Directors for the Health Care Compliance Association. In addition, Murphy is of counsel to the law firm Compliance Systems Legal Group; co-founder of Integrity Interactive Corp., an online compliance training provider; and co-editor of ethikos, a bimonthly publication devoted to practical approaches to business ethics and compliance.
