The author, Lauren McNerney Stinnett, is a Junior Kindergarten teacher at Sacred Heart Preschool, Louisville, Kentucky and mother of three. Her goal is to promote literacy for pre-readers of all abilities with different and fun accordion-style picture books and to foster a love for reading that will serve them well throughout their life. Lauren collaborated with her mother, Esther Barker McNerney, a photographer, and her sister, Kristen McNerney Tincher, a mother of two and graphic designer, to create an engaging and really fun reading experience for children learning to read in the national award-winning Tell Me, Tell Me, What Do You See?
