About the Author:

Jeff Rudd is Director of Free In Christ Prison Ministries and an Assistant Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Cary, NC. Jeff began serving as a prison volunteer in 1994 while working as an economic developer, and later as a county manager in local government. In 2001, the Lord led Jeff to devote himself full-time to discipling prison inmates. Jeff currently serves as a volunteer chaplain in two prisons. Over the past ten years, he has counseled more than 2,000 men, and taught more than 1,500 Biblically-based classes in prison. In addition to Be-yond Addictions, he also teaches weekly Bible Studies, a course on how to understand and apply the Bible, and another to disciple men as God-ly fathers. His approach is Biblical and practical as he enables men to apply God’s Word to the issues they face in their daily lives. The Beyond Addictions course is taught personally in two North Carolina prisons and it is available via correspondence or through other ministries in many other state prison systems. Hundreds of men have graduated from this course and gone on to lead productive lives in their communities. Many are using this course to disciple others who have struggled with addiction.
