About the Author

Bo Kane has been a working actor for over 30 years, and an on-camera acting instructor for kids for 14 years. His most recent credits are a recurring role on 9-1-1 Lone Star (Captain Andrews); the KIll Floor for PBS,  and other guest parts on Just Roll With It, Tacoma FD, Jane The Virgin, NCIS, The Orville, How To Get Away With Murder, Colony, Criminal Minds, Castle, Workaholics, CSI: Miami, 90210, Dexter, and many many others. Films include Remember Me (2022), What's Love Got To Do With It, The Ringer, Camouflage, Child's Play, and again--many others. A longtime member of Screen Actors Guild and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. His book "Acting Monologues and Scenes For Kids!", for ages 6 through 13, is a combination of his first two volumes that have sold thousands and now are put together---more bang for the buck!  
Bo and his wife have two kids: their son is a working actor in film and television and their daughter is studying film production at UCLA. Why the picture on horseback on the back of the book? Bo coached Special Olympics Equestrian for 16 years.
