About the Author:
A registered nurse for 25 years, StaciJoy specializes in teaching and motivating patients to heal themselves both physically and emotionally. Working for eight years in the high stress field of emergency room trauma and surgery, Staci realized that most extreme health crises can be avoided if people understand how their daily choices help or hurt their bodies’ overall health. With a Bachelor of Science in nursing and public health in 1986 and a board certification in holistic nursing in 1994, StaciJoy unifies her extensive training on the human body with her positive, inspiring understanding of how to change your life in a gentle, easy way. She has experience counseling different populations on nutrition and health issues, including athletes, parents with autism spectrum children, the elderly, low income families and people with extreme medical diagnoses. Though she specializes in helping people with debilitating diseases and other health challenges, Staci can inspire and guide anyone with her simple and affordable ways to improve their health.
