About the Author:
Navy wife, mom, grandma, teacher of the year, skydiver, white-water rafter, American patriot. Since her first book, U.S. Navy Alphabet, Sammie Garnett has continued to pursue her passion for promoting patriotism. She enjoys speaking with children, teens, and adults to emphasize honor, respect, and support for our true heroes: U.S. military members. Sammie and her husband, Bill, a retired Navy SEAL, have two children, four grandchildren, and one groundhog. they live, work and play in Panama City Beach, Florida and Murphy, North Carolina.
Children's book author Jerry Pallotta has written non-fiction alphabet books, math books, Icky Bug books, a holiday series, a 'Who Would Win?' series, and stories. He teamed up with teacher Sammie Garnett for this patriotic U.S. military series. Vickie Fraser is a recent artist on the scene in children's literature. She graduated from the University of Central Florida, earning a degree in graphic design. Upon graduation, she worked for the Air force contractor in Florida creating artwork for the military. After marrying, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and continued working in her field for a publishing company. Currently, Vickie resides in Atlanta with her husband, Lee, two beautiful children and their dog.
