About the Author:

Ian A. Stuart is a film, television, live theatre and radio producer who has written, produced and directed over 135 films and television programs. Motivated by a lifelong affinity for animals and abhorrence for the moral evil of cruelty in any form, Ian became one of the founders, past president and former director of his local Humane Society. Through the Society, he was extensively involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of urban wildlife over a period of six years. Now concentrating on writing, Mr. Stuart is working on several screenplays and a number of projects related to animal welfare, with both spiritual and practical application. Ian lives and works in the community of Scarborough in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he attends the Anglican (Episcopal) Church of St. Pauls Lamoreaux.

I am so impressed by your incredible accomplishment in writing this book. Once the word gets out I am sure all the animal rights and animal welfare groups will get on the band wagon. The forward is pretty high praise and rightly so. WOW WOW. I had the box torn apart to get at the book before I got out of the post office and then spent 20 minutes reading, sitting in the parking lot of the mall! Your epilogue made the hairs on my neck stand up. I was impressed with the minute details the author pulled from the Bible and other religious writings, and the consistency with which he wrote. I liked the way the author began at the beginning of the Bible and went through it as it is written today; it made it much easier to use this book in researching other items and in reading this work based on the reader's present knowledge. The material found in the Appendix was wonderful, and the Subject Index was quite complete. I thought the book was terrific, and I can think of nothing that would increase its worth or make it easier to read. --The Benjamin Franklin Awards
