One reviewer said...all the wild people move to the edge of the continent; after reading this anthology, I'm convinced it's true. The 24 stories, essays and poems by the Writers of the Mendocino Coast branch of the California Writers Club, live at this edge-from a newborn sliding from a railway handcar, to a death off the Pacific cliffs. Funny, revealing, surprising and heartbreaking, this is an impressive collection, beautifully put together.
