I really enjoyed writing ARAM and getting to know the characters better in the sequel ISHTAR'S REDEMPTION - TRIAL BY FIRE and putting it all into family and historical context in the pre-quel NEB THE GREAT. These books took me on a journey as an author and I really feel as if I lived for a time in the world of long ago and far away.... I think Eoban is my favorit character simply because he is so human and though he has a good heart he loses his temper and gets really fed up sometimes. He is also the one most likely to jump right back into action if need be. Too often we forget that since we live today we are connected to the past in an intimate way. Our relatives go all the way back to the beginning of humanity's journey on earth. What an awesome thought!
