About the Author:
Though he hasn't worn a dicky bow since 1967, Maurice Gueret is still a well known figure in Irish Medicine. His Rude Health column in the bowels of the Sunday Independent provides an unmissable weekly feast for hypochondriacs up and down the country. Maurice's humorous writing and original commentary on all manner of materia medica delights readers. He is a registered specialist in general practice, a member of the society of medical writers and an exemplary promeneur de chien. For many years he was health columnist at Image magazine and his colourful work has also graced the pages of Medicine Weekly, the Irish Medical Times, the Irish Medical News and Trinity Medical News.
