It was William* Ball (Samuel3, William2, William1) who married Martha Bloomfield or Blumfield. Page 152, same mistake in Number 2. Page 151, Number 2 should be William3 Ball (William2, William1) married Hannah Beale. His will, probated March 8, 1744-5, names children: i "William," married Margaret Ball, Feb. 17, 1723. ii "George," married Judith Payne, Oct. 10, 1735. iii "Sarah," b. 1700, married, 1st, Sept. 22, 1724, Dennis McCarty, 2nd, Abram Barnes, iv "Judith," married, April 13, 1726, George Glssscock v "Ellen," married, 1st, July 3, 1734, Richard Chichester; 2nd, June 12, 1747, William Downman. vi "Hannah," married, Sept. 7, 1746, Robert Mitchel; issue: William, Robert, Richard and Susan Mitchel. His will gives grandson, William Ball, his Lancaster county lands on which the testator then lived .... grandson William Ball, son of William deceased, grandson Benjamin Ball, .... grandson Richard Ball, . . . . grandson William Ball, son of George Ball. The will mentions lands in King George, 400 acres, seated by his son William deceased. A CORRECTION In the account of the Lee Family in Volume 1, pages 329, 330, and 336, there has been a mistake. Edmund Jennings Lee, who is Number 16 on pages 330 and 336, is placed in the wrong generation. He was the son of Henry and Lucy Grymes Lee, who were married, December 1, 1750, and had the following children: i Henry, as given on page 329. ii Charles, married, first, Ann Lee; and second, Mrs. Margaret Scott. iii Richard Bland, married Elizabeth Collins. iv Theodorick, married Catherine Hite. v Edmund Jennings, married Sarah Lee. vi Lucy. vii Mary, married Philip Richard Kendall. viii Ann, as given on page 329.
