Este aspecto es el fundamental v el más importante de to dos; puesto que de la vida, ó de las exigencias delproceso vital, se deri van a la vez el desarrollo de la doctrina y_el de la organización; siendo ésta una condición necesaria para que se manifieste la interna virtuali dad, y expresando aquélla la ley de las relaciones orgánicas y vitales. Así, el progreso exterior - sea orgánico ó doctrinal, disciplinar ó liturgi co - revela un progreso interior, un incremento de vida; y éste es el esen cial y fundamental, de que los otros dependen - y al cual se ordenan y se subordinam, tanto que sin él serían vanos; siendo como es la íntima vida de la Iglesia causa final y motriz de todos sus desarrollos externos e ih temos.
