From AudioFile:
Suzy the cat loves her life in France, where she lives with a fisherman and his four sons. One day she falls asleep in a basket that turns out to be attached to a hot air balloon, and she finds herself in England, with a body of dreaded water between her and her home. Suzy takes up residence with kindly Aunt Josephine and day after day tries to find a way across the water. Maureen Lipman gives a capable reading of this short chapter book. Suzy's meow is a bit grating, but all is made up by Lipman's wonderful voice for Aunt Josephine's parrot, Biff. Much of this story is truly funny, even if the end is bittersweet.
