Bernard Rees was born in the United Kingdom, grew up in East Africa, and spent some years in the British merchant navy before immigrating to North America where he worked in maritime shipping, trading ships between the Americas and the Far East. He is the author of the novels,’ The Manila Galleon’ a tale of diving and CIA intrigue, and ‘The Last Patriot’, both fast paced thrillers describing American engagement in Asia.
