Review:
"As a teacher I appreciate the discussion questions that were added in the chapters and the scenarios that were there which would lead to great discussions. I like the vocabulary words, this helps the students pick out the important aspects of the chapter, and the resources really provide a helpful service." Regina Fontana Ed. D., Seminole Community College, Florida
"Within the next year, two courses will be combined into one (Music and Movement and Creative Activities). When this occurs, this text will be perfect." Teresa Frazier, Professor and Program Head, Thomas Nelson Community College, Virginia
"The difference that I believe goes in Koster's favor is the actual reference to teaching techniques-I especially like the activities about "First Drawings" and setting up a drawing center. Another plus to this text is the obvious emphasis placed on the social-emotional development of the child and how the arts are critical to that. Finally, this text includes everything that I believe should be taught in a pre-service arts class-including movement and drama." Debra Ahola, AAS, BS, MS, Schenectady County Community College, New York
