To purchase in electronic format go to www.smashwords.com/books/view/246802 Chase Jasper, a 13 year old boy, feels insignificant to the world around him. When his 13th birthday leaves him home alone, depressed, he makes a wish to become invisible in order to see if anyone would miss him. To his surprise he does disappear but it is not due to the birthday wish. His family has a secret ability to become invisible that gets passed to one boy in each generation. Using his new gift, or curse as he sometimes feels, he unravels a sinister plot and saves the object of his affection-who does not know he exists-and her family from the thugs that recently invaded his quiet town. Along the way he learns about the history of the gift from his uncle, who was the last to have the ability, gets assistance from a mysterious ally that has discovered his secret, and faces tough choices about how to use this gift. In the end, Chase must figure out a way to save the day and get noticed, which he very much desires, without giving away his secret.
