About the Author:
Christine Cox was born in Boston Mass and attended elementary and High School in the Boston area. She married her husband Leon in 1965; he worked for IBM which caused them to move approximately six times in 25 years. She attended college full time at the age 38 majoring in early childhood education. She has two grown daughters Regina Hill and Erika Henderson and four grandsons, Andre, Aaron, Adrian, and Sebastian, ranging in ages twenty-three to nine. She retired from Navy Federal Credit Union after nine years and moved to Hawaii for nineteen months. She did not discover her gift of writing until after returning to the mainland in November of 2002. She volunteers as a Foster Grandparent at Sanford Elementary in Ms Silva's kindergarten class where this book was born. She and her husband Leon of 43 years now reside in Newport News VA.
