The worst difficulties from which we suffer do not come from without. They come from within. They do not come from the cottages of the wage-earners. They come from a peculiar type of brainy people always found in our country, who, if they add something to its culture, take much from its strength.
Our difficulties come from the mood of unwarrantable self-abasement into which we have been cast by a powerful section of our own intellectuals. They come from the acceptance of defeatist doctrines by a large proportion of our politicians. But what have they to offer but a vague internationalism, a squalid materialism, and the promise of impossible Utopias?

I decided to write about a topic which had preoccupied me for many years. The topic was universalism; the term has become known today as Globalism. My main focus was how it developed and existed in my Jewish community and throughout Jewish history.It was an attempt to verbalize my revolt and resistance to the dominant ideology of my community. An ideology that was, in my view, pathological in its propaganda and fanatical leftist politics.However, the word propaganda is itself mostly an instrument of propaganda; for who and what entity describes their own point of view as propaganda? Propaganda is a term usually reserved for the enemy's political cause. For most of us our own cause is just the truth. I certainly don't perceive my own point of view as propaganda. But I suppose that is for the reader to decide. I will say this: to finally formulate an opinion, whether contrary or not, after being indoctrinated and subjected to a constant one sided point of view and for that opinion to then be dismissed as just propaganda is an accusation that simply doesn't work. Such an accusation is the most obscene example of the pot calling the kettle black; but accusing me of creating propaganda is precisely what my opponents have done.It is ironic to accuse me of being a propagandist for writing, aside from history and memoir, in support of a position which is essentially a standard default position. My point is essentially that after all the dust settles and the ruckus of the liberal, globalist circus leaves town our old national differences still exist; the world is still divided up by nationalities. The liberal, globalists who share my ethnicity accuse me of being a propagandist for taking such a position; but I have voiced and formulated my own convictions against a backdrop of one-sided liberal, leftist political rhetoric. I believe I have provided much more than propaganda, though my book is political. I believe that I provide enough balanced opinion and historical reference that the foundation for my position, as was said of the north during the Civil War, builds with the steady momentum and perseverance of a mighty avalanche.
