About the Author:

Martin C. Carlisle received his PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University. His research focused on the parallelization of programs using dynamic data structures. Since then, he has been a professor of computer science at the United States Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There, he has produced several software products for use in the computer science curriculum that are now distributed world-wide, including RAPTOR and AdaGIDE.
