The Opera Ghost is dead or is he? A promised gesture of love that is never kept turns to heartbreak. A plan to recapture Christine is never realized. Betrayal and lies push Erik to make plans to start a new life beyond the walls of his lake house.  His plans are expedited when he is forced to leave unexpectedly.

On his way to freedom he encounters an unexpectd angel of mercy that helps him escape the certain death that awaits him if he is discovered. His angel has been sent from an unlikely friend that he hasn't heard from in years.

His protector has been given the responsibility of keeping his friend's promise; a promise to protect him and to show him the "arrangements" that will give him the opportunity to change and keep him safe. However, his angel of mercy is skeptical that change is possible.

This story continues the life of the famed "Phantom of the Opera" in which Gaston Leroux wrote of many years ago.  What will this new journey of unexpected events and adventures bring Erik to conclude about his past, himself and how his life was truly meant to turn out.

About the Author:
Ann M. Kraft was born in Pearsall, Texas in 1970.  She is considered to be the youngest of five children even though she has an identical twin sister.  She grew up in Milano, Texas which is a small town where her parents were both educators in the schools in which she attended.  It was in that small town that the dream to become a published author began.
Ann graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor's in Business from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas.  She worked for many years as a Visual Merchandising Manager for a large retail company where her creativity took a different form.  After the birth of her daughter, she and her husband decided she would not go back to work until their daughter was old enough to attend pre-school.
After Ann decided to return to work outside of the home she realized that she really wanted to do something that would reward her, not just pay her financially.  She wanted to be in the world that her parents lived in for more than a combined 60 years together; the public school system.  She decided that her love of the English language was too strong to ignore and wanted to help students coming from other countries learn English.  She was blessed that there was a position in the English as a Second Language Department at a high school in Lewisville, Texas and that the principal took a chance and hired her.  She has currently finished her second year as an Aide in the ESL Department and hopes to be able to continue to help the students there for many years to come.
Ann's love of the English language and storytelling is what finally brought to reality the promise that she made to herself when she was seventeen years old which was that she would write a book before she died.  This promise has now been kept and we have "The Opera Ghost Lives" as the fulfillment of that promise.
