About the Author:

Rev. Tim Brinkley currently serves as the Pastor of the Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Churh in West Point, MS. A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Rev. Brinkley is a 1979 graduate of Tupelo High School, a 1983 graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and a 2009 graduate of Ministerial Institute and College in West Point, MS,. Along with sermons, Rev. Brinkley writes weekly pieces for the Daily Times leader in West Point and has a radio ministry, broadcast on 98.9 WAJV-FM. He serves as Vice President of the Northeast Mississippi Baptist State Convention. Rev. Brinkley also serves as the Assistant Chief of the Law Enforcement Bureau with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks; holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is married to Glenda Willis Brinkley of Grenada, MS. They have two daughters, Victoria and Tia.
