Robert W. Millner taught instrumental music on the elementary through jr./sr. high school for 35 years. He traveled around the world to 38 countries with the renouned Long Island Youth Orchestra for five summers playing principle trumpet. Two previous books have been written; the book "Robbie" is a humerous overview of the author growing up with two younger sisters in the 1950's-1970's; "The Chicken Coop Gang" is a children's series for ages 7-9 (as well as adult) about the adventures of five children spending their summer vacations at a resort in the Catskill Mountains. The true stories are perfect for young readers as the book was published in both English and Spanish. There is a chapter at the end of the book designed for "self growth" asking questions about the meaning of the story.
