Summer Donahue is not Ben Martin’s type of woman. Ben is conservative, thoughtful and the model of self-control. Summer is whimsical, spontaneous and just a bit flaky. So why, when she breezed into his office like a tropical storm, was he so instantly and inexplicably attracted to her? Summer consulted Ben to have her business taxes done. But when it comes to light that Summer’s ex-husband and ex-accountant Malcolm has embezzled most of her liquid assets and put her on the brink of bankruptcy, Ben throws aside all of his iron-clad rules about not getting personally involved with his clients. Summer and Ben go to Mexico to find her ex and save her business. But in the process Ben loses more to Summer than his personal credo — he loses his heart as well.

About the Author:
Nature or nurture – one way or another Jenyfer was born with a touch of wanderlust, having moved states twice and houses four times before the age of five. The second child of two displaced Midwesterners, Jenyfer grew up in southern Louisiana and spent most of her childhood summers in northern Minnesota, further contributing to her regional identity crisis. She escaped back to the milder climes of the Midwest at the first opportunity by accepting a graduate assistantship at Kent State University, renting an apartment over the phone, and moving to Ohio sight unseen. She cemented her reputation as a daring individualist (or an impulsive flake, depending on your perspective) by eloping with her now husband after only ten months – and introducing her family later. The move to Ohio was only the first of several long distance moves for Jenyfer. After a few years in Ohio, she and her husband moved to North Carolina for a job – and then on to the United Arab Emirates where they resided for six years and started a family. Traveling has become something of a passion for Jenyfer who has since visited Greece, Turkey, Germany, Italy, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Oman, and Qatar. Jenyfer currently resides in Cairo, Egypt. Over the years Jenyfer has been a retail clerk, a department store model, a receptionist, a teacher, a freelance newspaper columnist, a librarian, a quilter, and a full-time mother. She’s a Capricorn, a wine lover (but not a snob), and loves to people-watch. In addition to writing novels, Jenyfer writes tongue-in-cheek essays about motherhood and her adventures in living abroad and traveling which she shares on her blog. Jenyfer has published three contemporary romances which have all received outstanding reviews and is currently working on a women’s fiction novel – and planning her next trip.
