About the Author:

McCormick was the personal security columnist for the Vancouver Province newspaper. He wrote Cariboo Safety and Rural Crime Watch for Black Press published in 22 communities. He wrote The Educator and Outdoors for Sterling Newspapers, and contributed to Full Contact, Blackbelt, and B.C. Women. Provincial psychiatric care-givers gained safe and effective client/care-giver techniques with his assistance. He's taught children and their parents skills to avoid kidnapping, sexual/physical assault and playground bullying. He hosted an open line child safety program for British Columbia’s CJAV radio. McCormick holds a Black Belt in Jen Do Tao, combat martial arts, was a member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) with experience training Seattle Police officers and King County Deputy Sheriffs defensive tactics. McCormick collaborated with Eric Wilson-www.ericwilson.com-in Wilson’s teen thriller, The Emily Carr Mystery. Wilson’s protagonist Liz Austen is attacked in a cemetery and McCormick wrote the scenes in which Austen successfully defends herself. He has a Master’s degree from the University of Portland, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and twenty-five years teaching elementary, junior and senior high school in British Columbia, Alaska and California. "Wyoming Secrets" is the first in the series. The first sequel, "30,000 Secrets" was published in 2017 and "Santa Barbara Secrets" in 2018.
