He also marries Raven and they have a little boy named Jacob. This story will grab you and hold you inside Rusty's world until you read the last ironic word, and leave you with the lesson that if you stand your ground and face adversity head-on, it truly does get better.

About the Author:

Danny Dean was born and raised in the coal fields of southern West Virginia. He graduated from Williamson High School and after serving in the U.S.Air Force, he studied Mine Technology and Mine Management at the local college, and worked underground in coal mines in Mingo and Boone Counties. He was on a mine rescue team and holds a Mine Foreman's Certificate. Although Danny's personal experiences shaped the story of Rusty Sledge and the Sock Full Of Pennies and made it completely believable, it is a work of pure fiction about people who never existed.
