About the Author:

Dr. Lorne K. Freake (pronounced Free-ak) has been a 'Wedding Celebrant' for more than twenty-five years at the time of publication of this book. He has conducted many wedding in both languages of English and French, within their particular cultures. Wedding Celebrant, Dr. Freake has officiated at both traditional and contemporary weddings, religious and non-religious alike, and officiated at weddings both on the inside and outside in a variety of settings. As an 'emergency services chaplain' he has also officiated several weddings for uniformed professionals. He and his wife Peggy (a high school guidance counselor) have been married for more than thirty-two years at the time of this publication and are the proud parents of four 'young adult' children. Dr. Freake has a Masters Degree in Theology (M.Th) from the University of Quebec in Three Rivers, Quebec and a Ph.D. from Laval University, Quebec, P.Q) Presently Dr. Freake serves as the Director of Ministry Advancement (DMA) for the Canadian Bible Society for the region of Atlantic Canada.
