Giza 2,000 B.C. Life was good in Egypt. As the 10th Dynasty entered its third decade of unprecedented prosperity, Egyptian culture burned bright under the phlamboyant yet steady rule of Pharaoh Phlash the Phirst. Millions of healthy, happy citizens. Gold mines working triple-shift. And an undefeated soccer team that was the envy of the known world. In the moon shadow of the Great Pyramid the planet's first World Cup final is about to begin. The Aztecs, champions of the West, battle the heavily favored, high-flying Egyptians led by team captain, Abu Sim-Pele. In the northern dunes of Africa, under the keen eye of Ra, the soccer world awaits the crowning of its first true king.
