About the Author:
Nina Judith Katz has been studying herbalism since 1988. She learns about plants from the plants themselves, books, direct experience and people. Nina offers classes and workshops on herbalism and holistic healing, leads plant walks, and gives herbal consultations. In 2012, Nina launched the People's Health Series (www.PeoplesHealthSeries.com) out of her passion for helping people take control of their own health using readily available, safe, and natural resources. She wrote this book to teach children about working with plants and to help move us towards a world in which all people recognize and know how to use the most common edi- ble and medicinal plants in their environments.
