About the Author:
JOAN W. HIGGS, a retired English and Drama teacher, earned her B.A. from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV, and her Master’s Equivalency from Penn State-York, Shippensburg, and Cambridge University. Mother of two and grandmother of three, she lives with her husband and their border collie Annie in a farming community near Seven Valleys, PA.
