Eric Stephen Bocks lives with his wife and children in Le Grand California. He spends his time farming almonds, composing Music, flying Falcons and raising his Kids. He has been flying Falcons for 23 years and is a Master Falconer. Wendover is indeed a real bird and at this time of the writing of Wing-Over Wendover" is enjoying his second season flying Ducks and other game in great style. Roxy is alive and well too and is 6 years old. A Big thank you to Wendover for his exploits sparked this first book " Wingover Wendover" the first in what he hopes to be a string of stories telling his adventures and allowing for Eric's imagination of the personalities of the animals and the excitement of the hunt to fill in the blanks. She has been obsessed with birds of all stripes from a very early age, and knew she wanted to be a falconer 'when she grew up' At age 5, she trapped her very fi rst wild bird with a trap made up of an old birdcage and some string; her prize was a beautiful red male cardinal, who was released shortly thereaft er. Wendy was born and raised in the lush native hardwood hammocks of Ocala, Florida, and comes from a long line of naturally-talented artists and Southern folk-craft smen. She and her husband Roky currently reside in Seatt le, Washington, where she chases rabbits and feathered quarry with her new Arizona-caught passage male Harris hawk, Saguaro.
