Gerald Cohen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Missouri University in Columbia, Missouri and a Master’s Degree in Economics and Management from St. Louis University. He has worked for over 44 years as an Information Technology Professional, working his way up from Junior Programmer to Information Technology Consultant and Manager of Training. In his 44 years in the IT industry. He has worked for many American and several foreign companies. He has designed, programmed and maintained computer systems for a wide range of computer hardware and software platforms. He has taught a full range of Information Technology courses at 5 American companies and at several foreign companies and one college. Gerald also helped a foreign country develop their Information Technology skills by teaching in their local language and bringing them up to the American standard. Gerald has worked with the Internet and Social Media Websites with the companies he worked for during the last 20 years and has used Internet Job Sites and Social Media Websites many times to find jobs during his career and to find employees for companies he worked for. He has interviewed and helped hire and train employees for those companies. He is good at developing and giving training classes and at technical writing. He has written Procedures Manuals and Operations Manuals for Computer Departments of many companies. He has a gift for showing his readers and teaching his students how to understand and use difficult computer concepts, like linking to internet sites from a book, as used in this book. He lives with his wife, Rose, at their home in St. Louis, Missouri.
