Chan Kai Yee’s second book after the expanded 2nd edition of his first book Tiananmen’s Tremendous Achievements in memory of the 25th anniversary of Tiananmen Protests. It is about the author’s greatest worry: The US being surpassed by China in military strength: Obama’s outdated losing strategy of Air-Sea Battle to China’s space era strategy of integrated space and air capabilities: Obama’s losing diplomacy that has given rise to Russian-Chinese alliance Detailed Description of China quickly catching up and surpassing the US in weapon development. It’s high time for the US to adjust its strategy, diplomacy and weapon development to maintain its world leadership. Without democracy, China cannot prevent the emergence of a tyrant like Mao Zedong when it has surpassed the US. Like Mao, the tyrant may bring disasters to world people. Only a United States as strong as or stronger than China can stop the tyrant. Is the author meddling? He is a Chinese, but since the US is world leader, it belongs to world people including the author. The author certainly has the right to request improvement in the leadership.

About the Author:
The author Chan Kai Yee was born in a successful doctor’s family in 1941. Having suffered a lot under Mao Zedong’s tyranny, he moved to Hong Kong in 1979. Since then he has worked until his retirement as a media analyst and translator at the American Consulate General in Hong Kong, a translator/interpreter for Baker & McKenzie, the translation manager of his own translation firm and chief editor at iSinoLaw China law website, which has joined forces with Thomson Reuters and appeared in Westlaw China’s platform since November 2011. SPACE ERA STRATEGY is his second book after publication in June of the expanded 2nd edition of his first book Tiananmen’s Tremendous Achievements to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Tiananmen Protests. US well-known politician and diplomat Henry Kissinger’s book ON CHINA rouses the author’s concern that people outside China even such a great diplomat as Kissinger lacks knowledge and understanding about China due to cultural differences and the mystery of Chinese politics. He wrote a long commentary on the book. To enable people to better understand China, Chan began to write blogs about China. In two years, he has made much viewed his microblogs on China at wordpress.com (tiananmenstremendousachievements.wordpress.com), linkedin under the name of Kai Yee CHAN and twitter at twitter.com/chankaiyee2. In addition, he is a major contributor to chinadailymail.com, a well-accepted website on China. The author’s greatest concern is the possibility of the reemergence of a despot like Mao Zedong when China has surpassed the United States in military strength. Mao was only able to bring disasters to China due to China’s weakness in Mao Era. The new despot may bring disasters to the whole world if he emerges after China has surpassed the U.S. Previously, there is no urgency as China lags far behind the U.S. militarily. However, due to Obama’s erroneous strategy and diplomacy and Chinese leader’s ability to rally people around him to make joint efforts, China is winning in its arms race with the U.S. That forces the author to write the book SPACE ERA STRATEGY to enable people outside China to know the true situation that if the US does not switch to correct strategy and diplomacy now, China will defeat the U.S.
