About the Author:

Jeanne Weaver Foth was born on her grandfather’s farm in Illinois in 1925. After moving to California in the 1930s, she graduated from high school at just fifteen years old and went on to marry the love of her life, Paul “Bus” Foth. Together they raised two children, Trish and Fred.

Jeanne was actively involved in her local community of Bakersfield, California, where she served as elected president of many civic groups. She was also a devoted member of the First Christian Church and loved to sing with the choir there.
