About the Author:
Kate lives in Spokane, WA in a 118 yr old fixer-upper with husband Jim, grandson Taylor, Murphy the orange cat, and grand-dog Brighid, a black and tan Chihuahua. They have three grown children, six grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and two granddaughters-by-choice. She is also blessed to be surrounded by the best group of friends in the world. Born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, she graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School class of '67. After a two-year stint in New Jersey and one in Seattle, she returned home and eventually she found Jim and they settled in Spokane in 1980. Kate is a Regional Chieftain in the Irish Clan Cian and spends much of her summer weekends at Highland Games around the Pacific Northwest with her Celtic family. She is a member of the Tin Pencil Writers Group and Spokane Authors and Self Publishers and enjoys her memberships in Eastern Star and Amaranth. She and Jim recently bought a sailboat fixer-upper and look forward to long weekends on the water.
